Guess who’s graduating in less than two weeks? THIS GIRL!!! The past few years at my college have been exhilarating to say the least! Sadly, with the end of this journey comes the end of this blog. As witnessed by the lack of posts in the past few months, I simply do not have the time to keep this blog updated in between two jobs and school. I hope to start another blog someday and even post random pictures occasionally but it’s time to let go.
On that note, I still do not have my green-card… nine years later… But, one day…
A funny, gritty, and inspiring movie about a mother and a son who move to USA to live the American dream. Speaking from the perspective of an immigrant, I can assure you that this movie does a GREAT job of portraying the struggles of first generation immigrants, especially in the light of 9/11 in a way that hasn’t been showcased before. The best part? It’s available for instant viewing on Netflix!
Someday I wish to buy a small cabin in a place like this and work on a novel. It has been my dream since I decided to major in English three years ago… Somehow… One day…Sometime…
I know I want this one dream to come true.
